Login and Connected Platforms

The login is broken

Download the latest version of VTuber Plus from your official library page.

I can not login / platform actions are not working

  1. Close VTuber Plus.
  2. Revoke VTuber Plus from the permissions or connections page of the platform you connected.
  3. Temporarily disable your firewall and run VTuber Plus as administrator.
  4. Launch VTuber Plus again and click Login.
  5. Approve the requested permissions in your browser and continue in VTuber Plus.

If that still fails, reset the local registry key:

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Arzolath\VTuber Plus"

OBS and Capture

VTuber Plus in OBS is a black screen

  • Close VTuber Plus.
  • Disable Game Mode in Windows 10.
  • Run OBS as Administrator.

Tracking

My webcam works in other apps, but not in VTuber Plus

VTuber Plus uses OpenSeeFace for webcam tracking. If a webcam works in OBS or Discord but fails here, try Camera Defaults first instead of forcing a specific resolution.

The camera is detected, but tracking does not start

Make sure OBS, Discord, browser tabs, virtual camera tools, or other camera apps are not currently using the webcam.

Tracking is shaky or keeps getting lost

Use brighter front lighting and reduce background glare or strong backlighting.

Eye tracking is unstable

Glasses glare, dim light, and low-quality camera input can reduce eye tracking stability sharply.

Tracking works for a while, then stops

Disable USB power saving for the webcam hub and consider turning off USB selective suspend in Windows.

Avatar Setup

Do I need VSeeFace running in the background?

No. VTuber Plus has built-in face tracking, but you can also use tracking software through VMC.

Can I use Live2D avatars?

At the moment VTuber Plus supports VRM and VSF avatars only.

My avatar's facial expressions are partially missing

For ARKit-style workflows, make sure all 52 required blendshapes are available on the avatar.

Eyebrows are not moving

Eyebrow tracking requires custom blendshape clips named Brows up and Brows down.

Performance

Items are being thrown at my feet

Increase physics quality in Physics Settings.

VTuber Plus is laggy while running alongside my game

  • Cap the frame rate in your game.
  • Hide your avatar in VSeeFace if you are using both tools.

I'm experiencing low performance / FPS

Use the Spout renderer and enable No visuals.
